SIRP allows for 2-Factor Authentication to be configured with Google Authenticator. This provides an additional layer of security beyond just a password to a user's account, making unauthorized access to an account much more difficult.

Configuring 2-Factor Authentication in SIRP

  • Navigate to the Profile form from in the upper corner.

  • In the Profile form, enable the Google Authentication toggle, and follow the instructions to configure Google Authenticator on your device.

  • Install Google Authenticator on your device, and scan the QR code displayed on the screen

  • Copy the OTP code on the screen

  • Enter the OTP Code in the Code Box and also enter a Master Code as a failsafe and click Save.

Now when you login into SIRP again, it will ask you for an Authentication Code, visible on your Google Authenticator app.
