SIRP allows for 2-Factor Authentication to be configured with Google Authenticator. This provides an additional layer of security beyond just a password to a user's account, making unauthorized access to an account much more difficult.

Configuring 2-Factor Authentication in SIRP

  • Navigate to the Profile from the top menu

  • In the Profile form, scroll down to the Google authentication section and enable it by clicking on the toggle button. Follow the Instructions to configure Google Authenticator app on your device.

  • Install Google Authenticator on your device, and scan the QR code displayed on the screen

  • Copy the OTP code on the screen

  • Enter the OTP Code copied from the app in the Code

  • Enter a Master Code which will let you access your account in case you don't have access to your device to get the 2FA code.

  • Click Save

Now when you login into SIRP again, it will ask you for an Authentication Code, visible on your Google Authenticator app.

Open your Google Authenticator app on your mobile and 2FA code.
