It offers a multi-layered defense to prevent data breaches and maintain the integrity of organizational communications.

Supported Actions

SIRP’s Symantec messaging gateway integration app allows you to execute the following actions:

Add the sender's email to the blocklist

GET PHISHING EMAILS

Query SMG on the basis of the given Subject & Sender to search for multiple parameters related to Phishing email

SMG Configuration:

Enable the Symantec Messaging Gateway app in SIRP

  1. First log in to SIRP, then go to Apps from the left navigation bar.

  2. Locate the app named Symantec Messaging Gateway.

  3. Enable the app by clicking on the toggle button under the status column.

Once you enable the App, click the configure option to integrate SIRP with Symantec Messaging Gateway

Add the following details and save:

  1. Configuration name<Name to identify the configuration>

  2. URL <SMG URL>

  3. Username <Username of SMG user with all required privileges>

  4. Password <Password of the user>
